Life's challenges are inevitable. Discover the wisdom and strategies needed to navigate through life with confidence, resilience and grace.

Our qualified psychologists and counsellors in Port Macquarie offer personalised therapy for individuals, couples and families, employing nature-based methods to enhance mental well-being and foster resilience.

OUR APPROACH

Capaz Health provides therapy experiences for individuals, couples, families, & children, combining professional psychological support with the benefits of nature to enhance well-being and personal growth.

Why Nature-based therapy?

Why Nature-based therapy?

Our lives are filled with busyness and noise, whether we’re in the classroom, an office or even at home. Nature allows us the opportunity to reduce some noise and friction for a moment, so we can find clarity.

Movement during therapy sessions with our psychologist in Port Macquarie has proven to stimulate the brain and enhance overall well-being. Physical activity has been linked to the release of endorphins, which can contribute to improved mood and reduced stress.

Nature-based therapy can be more comfortable and less constrained than traditional room/clinic based therapy. This can encourage open communication and a more relaxed interaction.

We also offer these nature-based sessions via telehealth, where the healing power of nature meets the convenience of virtual connection.

Immerse yourself in a therapeutic experience that blends the serenity of the great outdoors with expert guidance, creating a dynamic and revitalising space for personal growth and well-being. You get to discover a new way to connect with yourself, others and the world around you, right from the comfort of your own space.

By integrating traditional psychological therapies with nature's therapeutic benefits, we offer an innovative and scientifically grounded treatment model.

If nature based therapy is not your thing we can also offer more traditional therapy.

Capaz Health was founded by a clinical psychologist, Sarah Shuter, with nearly 15 years of experience, driven by a passion for integrating the therapeutic benefits of nature into traditional psychological therapies.
